Link to Text Fragment - Browser Extension for Chrome
Link to Text Fragment is a browser extension developed by Google LLC for Chrome. It allows users to create special links to specific text on a webpage. With this extension, you can easily select the text you want to link to, right-click, and choose "Copy Link to Selected Text" from the context menu. The selected text will be briefly highlighted in yellow to indicate that the link creation was successful. You can then paste the link wherever you want to share it.
One of the standout features of this extension is the ability to create rich links in addition to regular text fragment links. By activating this feature in the options, compatible browsers will not only scroll the selected text into view but also highlight it.
To enhance user experience, Link to Text Fragment allows you to assign a keyboard shortcut to the copy action, making it even more convenient to create and share links to specific text on webpages.
